Tooth Whitening
If the color of your teeth isn’t quite what you’d like it to be, we can easily and safely whiten them in our office. Or, we can provide you a simple-to-use kit to use at home as needed to brighten and whiten your smile.
Everyone wants to look their best at all times, whether they are an adult or a teen. You may alter your smile with Invisalign without anybody noticing because the aligner trays are entirely transparent. If necessary, you may even quickly pop them in or out. Make the obvious decision and get rid of the metal brackets and wires!
Dental Sealants
Since it will save time and money in the long run, prevention is always worthwhile. Before applying a thin coat of sealant to the chewing surface of each tooth, we carefully inspect each tooth for signs of decay and make sure that the teeth and gums are healthy. By preventing germs from growing in the tooth’s fissures, this can help stop deterioration.
Tooth Colored Fillings
The days when getting a dental filling meant having another glittering tell-all glinting in your mouth are long gone. A robust composite resin is used in modern fillings to fill cavities. It is possible to shape the filling and polish it till it blends in with the remainder of the natural tooth.
Bonding
When a simple filling is inadequate or when a front tooth is broken or damaged, bonding is used. Similar to filling material, the bonding material is tooth-colored and can be polished and sculpted to blend in and look unnoticeable.
Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers can restore a white, even smile that is indistinguishable from a genuine one when teeth are broken, damaged, uneven, or have gaps in the front. Veneers are now more widely available, less expensive, and last longer thanks to ongoing technological developments.
Root Canal Therapy
When the pulp of the tooth becomes compromised and infected, endodontic treatment is necessary. During a root canal, bacteria and damaged tissue are removed, the tooth’s root is filled with a sealant, and the tooth is then prepared for a customized restoration.
Tooth Extractions
Sometimes a tooth is too damaged to keep or is impacted (as with wisdom teeth) and needs to be pulled. Before extracting a tooth, Dr. Urban will go over all of your choices with you, including several methods for restoring your bite and smile after the operation.
Dental Bridges
An artificial dental bridge can be built to fill the space left by lost teeth. A restoration is bonded to neighboring teeth to create a normal bite that feels, looks, and operates like your natural teeth. Bridges can be either movable or fixed (permanently affixed).
Dentures
Dentures can be used to restore a natural appearance and suitable surfaces for chewing and speaking when one or more teeth are missing, or when the patient is fully edentulous (toothless). Dentures come in two varieties: full (replacing the entire upper or lower arch, or both) and partial (replacing only a few teeth in the upper or lower arch).
Dental Implants
An implant is one of the most long-lasting options for tooth replacement if it is lost due to trauma or decay. The tooth’s root is replaced with a titanium post that firmly adheres to the jawbone. The post is covered with a customized restoration resembling a crown, resulting in a tooth that is nearly impossible to tell apart from the original.
